Earthbound Zero is the first Earthbound game. It did not appear in North America, (I think... not 100% sure about this one.) but the version for Super Famicom did. I do know it was known as "Mother" in Japan for some reason. The graphics are'nt too bad, but the play control tends to be extremely frustrating. I never did like Earthbound, and, logically, I don't like Earthbound Zero much. **New note: I'm now sure that Zero did not appear in North America. BUT, now I donno if it was a Famicom game or not... This game is essentially identical to Earthbound for Super Nintendo. You are a kid who runs around, trying to save the planet. Yay. Ratings:
