A Boy and His Blob is an... Well... it could be a sidescroller... shoot 'em up... puzzle game. Hell. It's one of the most innovative games on the NES ever. It is sometimes frustrating to control the boy, but it isn't hard. He sometimes... slides a little further than you want him to. And then he falls off a cliff, falls 7 screens down, and splatters. Then the music goes "Wob wob wob wob". AHHHH! The idea of A Boy and His Blob is to Run around with your blob, and try to kill a big gray... blob guy. To make it to the end, you need to pick up new jelly beans, and buy vitamins. To pick up new jelly beans, you have to run around the sewers. To buy vitamins, you need treasure. Treasures are conveniently located in the sewer system. After you get a certain jelly bean, you can change your blob into a vitamin shooter. Oh yeah. Vitamins kill things, and jelly beans make your blob change shape. Be sure to take your vitamins, kids. Some forms you can take include a trampoline, a humming bird, a bubble, a hole (?), and a rocket. Ratings:
